As you can see, there are many factors will alter your jewelry's chemical exposure levels and each will accelerate tarnish. To minimize tarnishing, try cleaning your jewelry with dish soap and water after wearing it. This will help remove skin oils or perspiration and may help keep jewelry stay clean and bright longer. Then, store in an airtight container. Some body types do not do well with anything plated.
